Terms and Conditions
prices
We reserve the right to make errors in the pricing information. In addition, we reserve the right to change prices without prior consent. At the same time, reservations will be made for sold-out items.
For orders outside the EU, local customs duties and fees for customs clearance may apply and will be collected by the carrier upon arrival. Such duties and fees must be paid by the customer. Local taxes and fees are NOT included in the price shown in the shopping cart. We do not have any information about local customs duties to be paid upon arrival. Many countries allow packages with lower amounts to pass customs clearance without any costs/taxes/fees. Please check the legal regulations in your country for more information.
payment
Payment will only be debited from your account when the item is dispatched. All amounts include VAT. Price errors and sold out/discontinued items are reserved.
right to complain
Depending on the situation, you can repair the item, exchange it, return the money or have the price reduced. The claim does not apply to defects or damage caused by improper handling of the product/service. You must make the claim within "reasonable time" after you have discovered the defect/fault.
right of withdrawal
There is a right of return for items purchased in our webshop.
The following product types are not covered by the right of withdrawal:
- Products manufactured to the consumer's specifications or with a clear personal touch.
- Sealed goods which are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene and whose seal has been broken after delivery.
- Goods which, due to their nature, are inseparably mixed with others upon delivery.
- Items where the seal has been broken.
- supply of non-financial services, where the provision of the service has begun with the consumer's prior express consent and the acknowledgement that the right of withdrawal expires when the service has been fully provided.
- Supply of digital content not supplied on a physical carrier, where performance has begun with the consumer's prior express consent and acknowledgement that he will thereby lose his right of withdrawal.
- Newspapers, periodicals or magazines, but excluding subscription contracts for such publications.
- Contracts concluded at public auctions.
- Goods that deteriorate or become obsolete quickly.
The condition of the item upon return
You are only liable for any deterioration in value of the item resulting from handling which is not necessary to determine its quality, properties and functioning.
If the item has been tested in addition to those described above, it is considered used. This means that if you cancel the purchase, you will only receive a part or none of the purchase amount back, depending on the commercial value of the item at the time of receipt - return. Therefore, to receive the full purchase amount back, you must try the item without actually using it.

If you are a consumer residing in an EU country, you can submit your complaint on the EU Commission's online complaints platform.
You can find the platform here: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/
If you submit a complaint here, please include our email address hello@happyart.berlin.
